MPCQ Platinum (Steam) - Heat-Timer

MPCQ Platinum control series design offers two options for steam outdoor reset multi-boiler heating control in single-pipe and two-pipe steam heating systems:

• The steam cycle concept along with outdoor temperature to regulate a building’s steam supply according to the external temperature, or
• Structuring of the boilers to attain a fixed, set point

Each option provides a set of pre-determined, yet adjustable settings to suit building needs. Overall,
MPCQ Platinum:

• Ensures cozy ambient temperatures with diminished fuel costs
• Regulates steam flow by guiding a maximum of eight boiler stages (8 x on/off or 4 x lo/hi). An
• Extension Panel can provide extra stages.

MPCQ Platinum communication options include:
1. The Internet Communication package – impressive quantity of optional sensors to monitor,
log, and alarm set with Bonus – ‘Heat-Timer’ provides cell phone internet connection to control
(see Internet communication)
2. The BACnet Communication package offers BACnet IP or BACnet MSTP compatibility plus the
option of using other protocols with a Fieldserver gateway
3. The Modbus Communication package has Modbus RTU Communication compatibility with
the MPCQ Platinum control plus a 30-PSI Transducer with an outdoor sensor + relay switches.
