1502 - Introduction to Valvelink and Diagnostics

Following this course, the participant will be able to navigate, setup and understand the functionality of Valvelink software for Fieldvue devices. The user will be able to perform basic testing and interpret diagnostic information as well as install, troubleshoot and calibrate Fieldvue devices.
Intended for
Valve mechanics, maintenance personnel, instrument technicians and those responsible for maintaining control valves, actuators and control valve instrumentation.
Course Content
This 1-day course provides an introduction to Fieldvue devices and Valvelink software. A combination of theory and workshops allows the participants to thoroughly understand theory of operation, how to install, setup and calibrate these devices. We will introduce the valvelink software, how to perform diagnostic testing and provide diagnostic analysis of the data collected. A further discussion on valve reliability will be covered.
